A 24-hour caregiver stays in the home round-the-clock to provide continuous support morning, noon, and night. This choice is the ultimate in maintaining one’s independence. You will be assigned a primary caregiver who is responsible for organizing medical, dental, physical therapy and other appointments and maintaining necessary home care supplies. You will also have a secondary caregiver who is more involved with household needs. Both caregivers will put the needs of the customer first. We recognize that caregivers do occasionally get sick or need a day off,

so we highly recommend a third caregiver be trained to your care plan to assist in dividing the week up. This also ensures that all aides have an adequate amount of rest before returning to assist you or your loved one. All 24-hour caregivers maintain a separate residence. They are permitted to reside in the customer’s home only during the times they are assigned, and they must leave when their shift is over. Caregivers may not have visits from family or friends while on duty, so you will retain the privacy of your home.
