Agency Hired In-Home Care

Our Agency Managed In-Home Caregivers keep your loved ones comfortable and safe in their own homes without the hassle and responsibility of you employing the caregivers directly.

Acting as the employer, our caregivers are license bonded and insured under our home care license. They have been well vetted and have met every standard to be hired by our agency. They have access to over 40 modules of caregiver training each month and are encouraged and rewarded to continue their training even if they have been caregiving for years.

We are the only agency in our area to independently hire an outside rating firm that rates our services and our employees each month. Our customers consistently give us a five star rating for receiving services as promised and they would definitely recommend our services to others. Our employees give us five star ratings as well.

At times people under estimate the value families receive when using a caregiving agency, but consider the following:

  • Through an agency, caregivers are paid meeting state and federal wage & hour laws. Most agencies pay their caregivers a going rate which is more than minimum wage. They also offer benefits.
  • Caregivers who choose to work at agencies instead of direct hire enjoy the permanence of work options and want to be sure that the taxes are paid.
  • Agency management has experience dealing with complex customer needs which can only be gained when you have successfully managed high volumes of caregiver employees. This experience helps you manage the care you receive.
  • Agencies handle the late night calls by sick caregivers who cannot make their shift. This is PRICELESS
  • Agencies have more caregivers to choose from.
  • Agency caregivers complete hiring protocol set by the State Licensing Board.
  • Most Long term care insurance companies will not reimburse caregivers who work privately.
  • Caregivers who are only looking for "under the table" employment put you at risk. Someone may charge less upfront but in the end it may cost you more if things are not handled properl. Also, they may charge less than an agency but that, in no way, compares to the benefits you receive when going with a licensed agency.
  • Agency caregivers are covered by workers compensation benefits as well as other benefits.

Some people have been led to believe that by paying a caregiver more and more they will get better care. We believe this is a myth and like most jobs if you like what you do you will be successful but if you are in it only for the money it’s not that much fun.
