Caregivers must be available for full or part time work which includes weekends and holidays. Due to the nature of the work we provide, all newly hired caregivers will be placed in on-call positions until it is determined that they are placeable for longer term cases. Feedback on work performance in the beginning is important to securing regular shifts.

The ability to be team oriented and having a background in caregiving or a verifiable background in a responsible position are a must to be one of our caregivers. Training that would be a great asset for you include CNA training, assisted living training, or being certified in other health related modules.
Caregivers can recieve Caregiver Training through Caregiver Career (online), Providence Medical Center Senior Services, Rogue community College, or Aquire Care Training (online).
Trainings over two years old will need to be refreshed. Training should include:
Applicants must also be able to say "YES" to the following: a. Are available 4 shifts per week, including at least two weekends per month b. Are confident about passing a criminal background check, driving record, references and drug test c. Are willing to take ongoing education (6 hours annually) d. Maintain a strict non-smoking environment e. Have car, cell phone, e-mail, auto insurance, and license f. 1. Caregivers must be willing to abide by the policy of Caregiver Services. 2. Caregivers must be willing to sign a non-solict work agreement. 3. Caregivers must complete an available work schedule monthly. 4. Caregivers must have a minimum of three interviews and successfully pass all three. (2 individual and 1 group) 5.
