In 2006, Caregiver Services purchased the rights to train two of its valuable team members to become Senior Move Specialists. These are highly trained professionals who can assist in sorting out a family member’s home and get it ready for downsizing. They can even ensure that your new home is set up with dishes, linens, or whatever you will need to begin your new lifestyle. This is a very personalized service that takes into account the strenuous task of moving a family member into a smaller assisted living or retirement home.
Before moving, we can take pictures of each room so you can remember where you spent so many pleasant years of your life. We can help inventory what you want to keep, what goes to other family members, what you want to donate to charity, and what you need to throw out. And, of course, we can help you pack, make the necessary arrangements for the actual moving day, and then unpack.
